If the truth be told, the price of this excellent library is worth it for the plethora of super synth sounds alone - 979MB of material for just under £13?? Amazing value.
Here is the real dark edge of Berlin Techno BUT that doesn't mean to say it isn't melodic as there are some really tuneful loops that definitely get your creative juices flowing.
And another superb aspect of this pack is that everything comes in a variety of keys from the 'weirdo keys' (as I call them!!) such as Ebm and G#m right through to good old Dm, A, Am - the works! - so you can never moan about being stuck for a great bassline or synth loop ever again.
Yet another super treat is in store for you because you get no fewer than SIX 'Songstarter' folders as well containing such goodies as textures, vox, pads, drums, 'stripped drums', tops, bass and FX.
I've come across 'songstarter' collections before but they usually contain, say, a bassline and drum track and that's it, so all other 'songstarter' producers out there should take a leaf out of the Cr2 Records book.
The songstarter kits all have names - Forecast, Parting, Scan, Strut, Trust and Way - a class act indeed, and of course you can pull as much as you want from this luscious collection to mix and match to your heart's content with other stuff on your hard drive.
But hang on - that's not all you get of course - you also (apart from the shedloads of synth loops already mentioned) get bass hits, basslines, drum hits, drum loops, FX, FX loops, and synth hits and for all of you who enjoy plugging your instruments in (OOH!! Matron!!) there are bass and synth MIDI loops as well.
Rounding the pack off is a gift for all you Massive and Sylenth1 dabblers - folders of superb presets.
Blimey, you sure can tell the love, affection and downright professionalism that's gone into creating this cornucopia of sounds.
The quality is ace meaning you can timestretch any of the sounds without any audio loss.
