How long have we been waiting for these? Seems like yonks and no mistake BUT as the old adage goes: 'Good things come to he who waits' and so the arrival of this newie from the Brighton boys is a blessed event.

Why? Well, for those of you who bought their previous collections from Producer Loops you'll know the Stick Up Boys deliver the goods with style, panache and that welcome twinge of 'twisted' which makes anything they do so damn pleasurable.

AS PL say: 'Stick Up Boys: Electronic Pop Vocals Vol 2' combines fat analogue synths, lo-fi drums, funky guitars, weird electronic FX and deep chorused vocals to create a sound that's unmistakably 80's, but with a modern, experimental twist. Dust off that poster of a Ferrari Testarossa, fire up the hoverboard, and join the Stick Up Boys on one hell of an adventure.

'Borrowing influences from modern Dance and Electronica as well as the most notorious of the 80's and 90's Pop scene, the Stick Up Boys are back with another genre-defying collection of five Construction Kits and full vocal performances.'

'The Stick Up Boys' off-kilter approach to Electronic Pop music is orchestrated by a trio going by the names of "Front", "Brains" and "The Driver" in Brighton, UK. They were originally formed after Front decided the world owed him something and that it was time to take it.

'Check out the Stick Up Boys on Soundcloud.'

Anyway, what do you get? Five construction kits rammed to the rafters with goodness.
They are: Turning Waterfalls, G at 110bpm; Make It Better, G#m at 120bpm; Invasion, F#maj at 128bpm; Bad Boy, F#m at 128bpm and High Five in Em at 90bpm.

The kits come with folders of basslines, drums, synths, live guitars - the works! - but the icing on every Stick Up Boys' cake are the vox.

Often quirky, they always captivate and they are crystal clear,
So, whatever you want to throw at them via the likes of flangers, reverb, delay, whatever takes your fancy, they remain top notch and untarnished by timestretching or 'turning them wet'.

The vox come 'complete' as well - verse, chorus bridges endings etc plus plenty of backing too. Much, much better than some 'like it or lump it' vox packs out there in loopland which just give you about 4 bars and that's your lot.

For all newbies out there, it's so simple to build the tracks using the Boys' stuff - listen to the basslines and synths for example as they are ace but of course the kits are really so 'mix and matchable' you can use the stuff in loads of genres.

Try making a hip-hop track with the 90bpm High Five kit for instance if that takes your fancy. Ramp up the 128bpm kits a couple of notches and you can even craft a Stick Up Boys trance track. Hehehehe. (Although I can almost visualise 'Mr Front' grimacing at this suggestion.

The choice is endless and simply down to what you fancy so without further waffling, click the link below to be taken straight to the product page on the Producer Loops website, listen to the streaming audio and even grab a free sample zip pack from this release, then buy, as always, with security and confidence.

Oh yeah, don't forget to check out the boys on YouTube as well. Top vids, ace tunes.
