Top-quality tonsils

Future House Vocals Vol 2 - Soul Rush Records/Loopmasters - PC/Mac - £17.95 d/load

THERE are many things you can wish for but never get, so thank goodness that some actually do come true and wishing for volume two of this superb vox series certainly paid dividends.

Ace quality is to the fore yet again with this collection with no fewer than four vocalists offering a wide range of tonsil treatment which will have you banging out a hit track in no time.

One of the best things about this pack is that there are no 'instrument loops' included to jade your inspiration - you get what's in the box, vox only - so dig out your sounds and create a masterpiece!

They are so easy to work with it's almost unbelievable and, as the official blurb says, you get 94 royalty free hooks, sung and written by professional vocalists & songwriters.

These hooks and adlibs will take your tracks to the next level of song composition and musicality. The vocalists’ unique samples have been recorded at three bpms: 124, 128 and 132 in four keys.

The keys are Am, Cm, Fm and Gm so plenty of scope on tap.

The singers are: Fran Young, John Schaffer, Josie De Sousa and the superbly-named Woodly Smick.

As with Volume 1, the whole caboodle is put together by a gifted lady who goes by the name of Tigerlight.

Tigerlight: Vocal features and co writing with Rain City Riot, Steve Mac, Document One, Far Too Loud, High Rankin, Dodge and Fuski. As a session vocalist she has sung and performed around the UK and Europe including as a backing vocalist for ITV's X- Factor series '05 – '10 and Britain’s Got Talent '09 - '11 including backing vocals for Beyonce, Westlife, George Michael, Christina Aguilera, Robbie Williams and Rhianna, Michael Ball's 2009 Greatest Hits album and recorded with Andrew Lloyd Webber and Nicola Scherzinger among others.
Blimey, talk about an impressive (and 'hats off to her') CV!
